CHAPTER 7: ACADEMIC INTEGRITY & PERFORMANCE

Hye everyone!!! Today, I would to share about another chapter in study skill that I had learn from Madam. Nurul Afzan. We learn about how to be integrity in our assignments or any masterpiece that we want to do.After that, we also learn about how to calculate or GPA and CGPA.
So, let's we start it!!!


Some student they cannot avoid plagiarism because they do not know the definition about plagiarism wisely. As student, we cannot take this thing easily because we are always do this thing.


¶ student are unintentionally guilty of plagiarism they write reports, assignments and so on.
¶ plagiarism: an act of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of the representation of that author's work as one's own, as by not credit the original author.
                                                      copy + paste = plagiat
                                            copy + paste + edit= no plagiat
                                                    ☁exp: according to Mila ,,,,

PLAGIARISM!!!
 turning in someone else's work as your own work.
 copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit.
 failing to put quotation in quotation marks.
 giving incorrect information about the source of quotation.
 changing words but copying the sentence structure of a source without giving credit.
copying so many words or ideas from a sources.


So what should we do to prevent this thing happen? We, need to give our high committee towards all assignment and masterpiece that we do.I am so sure, that every student want to avoid any plagiarism in their assignment but they do not know how to avoid it, so I want to show you how to avoid plagiarism:

# PLAN YOUR PAPER
# WRITING YOUR PAPER :
  • cite sources
  • make it clear who said that
  • know how to paraphrase
  • evaluate your sources
  • include a reference page
SOME EXAMPLE:

  • ( name of author, title, where the publish, page, year of published)
  • bla, bla, bla, according to Ahmad,,,,

Now lets we discover how to calculate our GPA and CGPA. The funniest thing about this part is, I am feel so scared to find out about this lesson if I will get low pointer in my GPA, because it will obviously give some impact on my CGPA at the furture. So, we need to carry on the highest or middle pointer if we don't want to ruin our CGPA. But, I hope my friends and I will be able to get the highest pointer or any pointer that they want. I also feel excited to learn this thing because while at school, we are not to worry about our pointer.

First of all the GPA is stand for Grade Point Average, whereas CGPA is Cumulative Grade Point Average.

How to calculate or GPA and CGPA :

GPA =   TOTAL POINTER  × TOTAL CREDIT HOURS ONE SEM
TOTAL  CREDIT

CGPA  =  TOTAL ALL RESULT AT ALL SEM
    TOTAL CREDIT BY ALL SEM

I think, that all for today and I hope this arcticle will be benefit to anyone. For my opinion, although pointer on GPA is the important thing as student university, we need to study without any stress and just flow our an unexpected journey with the happy smile.
